Dr. April Beisaw, archaeologist and professor of anthropology at Vassar College, is plotting gravesites in the Old Tongore Cemetery in 2024.
We are grateful for the hard work and scholarship of Dr. April Beisaw and her students from Vassar College for their interest and activities at both the old and new Tongore Cemeteries. Her research and field work have resulted in discoveries and maps that have been of great benefit to the trustees and the local townspeople.
